What we’re about
We play non-contact flag football weekly on most Sundays from 9:30am(during NFL season) or 10am to 12:30pm (so you have time to watch the NFL games) at Alley Pond in Queens. We have been doing this for over 10 years and we play year-round. Feel free to tell friends and have them sign up on Meetup. We have cones and flags so all you need is cleats if that is what you prefer. GAMES WILL ALMOST ALWAYS BE PLAYED REGARDLESS OF THE WEATHER CONDITIONS i.e. rain, snow, cold, mud, ice, etc...we rarely cancel games due to weather...SNOW IS ONLY MORE OF A REASON TO PLAY! Games are fun and competitive, all skill levels are welcome, please contact me if you have any questions. You must be a member and at least 18 to play, so we can keep things orderly and organized.
ASSUMPTION OF RISK: Therefore, you voluntarily assume any and all risks, including, but not limited to, sickness, injury (including death), loss, or damage to me and/or my property due to any and all causes regardless if it is or is not caused by the negligence of others. WAIVER AND RELEASE OF ALL CLAIMS: By participating in Cunningham Park Flag Football, you recognize and acknowledge that there is a risk of physical injury to participants in this activity, and you voluntarily agree to assume the full risk of any and all injuries, damages or loss, regardless of severity or whether caused by the negligence of others, that you may sustain as a result. You are voluntarily participating in these events based upon your own judgment. You are not making this decision based upon the rules, equipment, facilities, and conditions provided by Russell Levinson, and Cunningham Park Flag football. By signing up for and participating in this activity you are expressly assuming any and all risk and legal liability of participation, and you are waiving and releasing all claims for injuries (including death), any damages, or loss which you might sustain as a result of participating in any and all activities connected with and associated with this activity, including, but not limited to injuries or sickness that occur during an event or activity and those that may occur while traveling to and from events or activities. You further agree to release and waive any right to sue Cunningham Flag football, its organizers, members, volunteers, other participants, sponsors, and advertisers. You should also have health insurance and/or be able to afford medical care if needed. \

SEVERABILITY: If a provision of the Assumption of Risk or Waiver And Release Of All Claims is or becomes illegal, invalid, or unenforceable in any jurisdiction, that shall not affect the validity or enforceability in that jurisdiction of any other provision of this Agreement.
