Breakfast & Code

We are always trying to be more inclusive by providing events at different times. Our first Queer code breakfast was a success, so here comes the second one! Please note that you can arrive and leave anytime between 7:30 am and 9:00 am.

Important note: This event was originally scheduled for Tuesday 1 August, but since our venue host could no longer make that date we’ve rescheduled it to Tuesday 8 August. All else remains the same.

This will be a relaxed event where attendees can chat with other queer coders and work on their own projects/katas.

Pivotal hosts an office Stand Up at 9:06 am, which you are welcome to stay and observe. You will be offered an opportunity to introduce yourself during the Stand Up; this is optional, but if you want to do it, please be prepared with a brief sentence or two. Please try and leave Pivotal's office by 9:30 am. You can continue to hang out in the publicly-accessible cafe on the ground-floor after and maybe do some co-working.

Please note: All participants are required to sign an NDA on arrival about any client info you may see at the Pivotal office. If you'd like to see an advance copy of this, please contact the organisers and we will send it to you.

Accessibility: The building is fully accessible. Main access is via revolving doors, with non-revolving automatic doors available via intercom. Gender-neutral toilets and baby-changing facilities are available inside the office.

If you're new to the group: we know it can be difficult to join a new social group, so we offer a Buddy Scheme to make it easier. We arrange to have one of our team meet you before the meetup starts, and to help introduce you to the group.
