Come make connections, roll dice, and tell stories with us!
WHO WE ARE We are a community of LGBTQIA+ people interested in tabletop role-playing games. Our group is intersectional, trans-inclusive, ace/aro-inclusive, anti-racist, and anti-fascist. We welcome anyone under the LGBTQIA+ umbrella who shares these values. Whether you’re an RPG veteran or just dice-curious, we hope there’s something for you in our group!
WHAT WE DO Tabletop role-playing games involve acting as characters, rolling dice, and collaborating to tell a story. Many people know Dungeons and Dragons, but there are a multitude of other games with different rules, themes, and storytelling priorities. We aim to include all of these games in our conception of tabletop games, with a particular focus on characters, worldbuilding, and fun.
Our events might include one-shot sessions, regular ongoing games, or discussions of related topics (e.g. game master tips / discussions, safe gaming tools, new game playtesting, etc.).
HOW WE PLAY The stories we tell might deal with issues of marginalization, or of radical re-imaginings of the world. But we also know that friendship and fun in a space of our own can be resistance too, and we value those experiences just as highly. Above all, our play promotes the consent and safety of everyone at the table, and hopes to avoid the harmful tropes and patterns which have often plagued these games and the culture around them.
NOTE: this group is in no way affiliated with the podcast Friends at the Table. However, fans of that show will probably fit in pretty well around here.
