What we’re about
"Quintessence is a group for lovers of all aspects of culture: theatre, an eclectic mix of music, literary review, film and art, from Brighton to Hastings and moving into mid Sussex too. The idea is to form a close knit community to share Sussex cultural events with, together with occasional forays to London. We anticipate, and prefer, our meetings to be small and intimate, enabling you to find kindred spirits to share the experience of cultural events. Occasionally we will stretch the boundaries to include country walks and lunches, fine dining and fine wine. We intend to post as many different events as possible- from Romeo and Juliet to Glyndbourne. We hope once established many more of you will become Event Organisers, so we can have as wide a choice for our culture vultures to enjoy."
