What we're about
Upcoming events (2)
For those in the Ottawa area who want to develop/refine their whitewater kayaking skills; the Ottawa River Runners is starting up open development sessions next week at the Pumphouse in Ottawa. The sessions are coached/supervised kayaking sessions intended for novice/intermediate kayakers. You should already have taken an intro course and had some initial exposure to whitewater kayaking but you do not need a solid roll to participate.
The cost of a session is $25, however, if we get enough interest the cost may go down to $15, so spread the word! The sessions will usually start at 6:30pm and are 1.5 hours long. We have a few adult club boats available for use.
If you are interested in an open session please email [masked] and be sure to let me know what nights of the week you are available so that we can firm up an evening to host the sessions every week for the rest of the summer!
