Ansible:
Ansible is next generation automation. We’ll tell the story of how Ansible came about, the problems that it solves, and why it is important. We’ll take a look at how Ansible actually works and show a live demonstration of Ansible Tower.

OpenStack Unpacked:
OpenStack is changing how we think about our infrastructure. We will go through the key features of Red Hat OpenStack, and get into a live demo of how it can make your life easier.

Speaker Bios:
Jamie has been at Red Hat for 5 years, focusing on the problems unique to Public Sector customers. Prior to Red Hat, Jamie worked in the ‘big web’ world and spent some time at a bioinformatics startup. At Red Hat, Jamie focuses on cloud-enabling technologies like OpenShift, Ansible, and OpenStack. With most of these technologies, he has been involved with them since their infancy.

In his spare time, Jamie is building a small farm west of Richmond, VA with dogs, cats, frogs, chickens, deer and a very understanding wife and amazing young daughter named Elizabeth.

Dave is a 15-year veteran of the software industry, with a passion for guiding early stage software companies to great success. Dave started his career at Red Hat prior to their IPO, ultimately building and leading the sales engineering organization that penetrated the US Oil & Gas, Electronic Design Automation, and Managed Service Provider markets. While at Ansible, Dave managed product, business development, and pre-sales efforts, developing innovative solutions into repeatable products. Dave holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a B.S. in Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University.
