Abstract:
In OpenShift 3.5 we’ve introduced Kubernetes Network Policy as a Tech Preview feature to improve the way we configure allowable traffic between pods. Put simply, Network Policy is an easy way for Project Administrators to define exactly what ingress traffic is allowed to any pod, from any other pod, including traffic from pods located in other projects. In this discussion we explain what it is, why the need, how to implement, and then walk through some use case examples.
Speaker Bio:
Marc Curry is a Principal Product Manager for Red Hat's OpenShift Container Platform, focusing on container infrastructure.
