I am the founder and "Girlfriend in Charge" of RLAG Cycling women. My passion is to help women discover the joys of cycling through friendly, supportive learning opportunities and fun social bike rides.

EXPERIENCE: how would you describe your bicycling experience over the past year? Getting back after a long absence? Occasional bike paths & easy rides? Urban rides around town? Longer distances in the country? Other?

I have been fortunate to bike extensively last year; Hawaii, Wyoming, Oregon Coast and most recently, Europe (Croatia & Italy). I ALWAYS love to come home, however, and re-discover the stunning beauty of the Pacific Northwest.

GOALS & INTERESTS: What types of rides are you most interested in? Do you have any big, hairy, audacious cycling goals for this year? How about brave-baby-step goals? We would love to encourage you if you want to share them with us.

I love both challenging rides where I can push myself to improve my skills and easier, social rides where I can enjoy a time with girlfriends. After a busy 2017, my goal is to ride more locally and focus on improving my personal cycling skills.

GROUP RIDING: Have you previous experience with Ride Like A Girl? Other cycling groups? biking in a group at all? If not, don't worry, all levels are welcome here.

I got my start in NW Butts on Bikes. Good folks over there; and lots of encouragement to ride hard, make friends and have fun.

LEARNING INTERESTS: If there is one thing you could learn this year to help you feel more confident and self-sufficient on your bike, what would that be?

I have a growing interest in understanding how my bike works, how to maintain it and how to make minor repairs.

How did you hear about Ride Like A Girl Cycling?

It was my idea, I am the founder :)
