I am very excited to share with you that we have been invited to do a photoshoot at the Stagecrafters in Royal Oak. For this treat, we must all thank Glennon Martin. I'm serious - GO HERE (http://www.meetup.com/RODPhoto/members/1956946/) and thank him!

I have teamed up with Taryn Scalise to put this event together, and the THEME will be Marionettes. I think that this conceptual idea will work amazingly in this very theatrical setting.
We will have a surprise Model or Models at this event who will be dressed in period dress, and we will also have FOUR amazing Marionettes joining us for this shoot*:

Hair & Makeup as well as Creative Stylists will be on-hand during the shoot to make sure our models look fabulous from the first to the last shutter click.
The models will all be signing a model release.
This is a PAID shoot - so no one will be required to share images:
All lighting will also be provided.
VERY IMPORTANT: I want you to know this: if you've never shot models before - and "don't know how" - do not stay away just for that reason. These models are really talented and easy to work with, and if you have questions, I'll be there to answer any questions. That's just the way I roll. I want you to SUCCEED.
The cost for this event is $65** super members and $75 for Regular Members. This meetup MUST have a minimum of 10 people signed up or it will be canceled. These shoots usually fill up fast, so please keep that in mind.
What you should bring:
Your best portrait lens A grey card if you have it Water / protein bar (trust me on this one) What you must bring
Your camera with whatever lens you have *small print: while these are the booked models for this event, it is in no way guaranteed that these models will be there. Life sometimes happens, and changes must be made. Thanks!
