The positive reviews continue for NETWORKING with Hokies helping Hokies! And the NETWORKING opportunities grow as the attendance grows. Come join us this month for fun, fellowship AND a special treat!

Ron Saacke, our Hokie Host who works there, will present a brief overview of the many and varied functions of the Virginia Farm Bureau. You will be entertained and surprised to learn what really goes on there! Thank you, Ron, for generously providing such a great venue for local Hokies and friends to gather.

New to Hokies helping Hokies? (https://richmondhokies.org/hokies-helping-hokies) Wondering what and why?

Hokies helping Hokies is a networking group. Are you a job seeker? Welcome. Want more customers for your business? Promote away. Need suppliers, vendors? Just ask. Is there a service/product provider you wish to recommend? Great! Is your business hiring? Front row seating for you! Maybe you are new to the area -- this is a GREAT place to start connecting in RVA!

All are welcome, Hokie credentials are not required, but we all cheerfully subscribe to the Hokie motto, Ut Prosim, That I may serve.

HhH meetings are always, always, always, held on the third Wednesday of the month. We start at 7:30 am, with the WORK (and the fun) of networking taking place informally as we mill around, meet and greet each other, and discover opportunities until being seated around 8:00.

The sit down agenda will usually have an educational component - a networking how-to tip or two, for example. It will always have attendee introduction time - come prepared to tell us what you have or want, and succinctly. You will have 30-60 seconds to state your case depending on the number of attendees. Finally, and oh, so importantly, we take time for attendees to respond to the requests that were made during the quick introductions - again, when presenting, be succinct, but also be specific and crystal clear with any requests in order to get the best help possible. We want to know how we can help. Be alert for opportunities to help others.

Our default location is Room 300 at the VT Center, 2810 N. Parham Road, Richmond, VA 23294. Enter from Mayland Drive, come up to the third floor. Coffee and pastries will be provided, but feel free to bring goodies to share as well as handouts, business cards, etc.

Registration is not required, but please click so we can get an approximate head count and advise you with updates if necessary. Bring a friend!

Looking forward to seeing you on 15 August at the
