What we're about

Group for beginner and intermediate riders looking to ride with and connect to other riders, get good BEGINNER advice, explore different trails with others in the area, share product and trail information, and more.

These are meant to be low stress, slow to moderate pace, no drop rides, so will try to have a leader and a sweeper and try help people with techniques and suggestions along the way.

As this grows a bit will try to loop in the bike shops in the area to add ride organizers and add bike shop events for maintenance, skills, specials, demo rides, etc.

Tuesday Evening Rides

Needs a location

Hi Everyone!
I am going to startup the Tuesday Night Rides again.

We will leave the Courthouse Rd Lot at 6pm sharp so if you are running late or cancelling please let me know and maybe we can do a quick loop and pick up stragglers.

With sunset now at 7:45 or so we will plan to just do a 1 hr to 1.75 hr ride depending. No lights needed unless you want to keep riding after sunset. Link to the night ride waiver is below.
http://www.fopsp.org/night-mountain-biking.html

I will cancel the event for rain and trail closures. Also, I may need to cancel the ride for other reasons, but if we can get a few alternates to help organize/lead the rides then we'll have a much more consistent event.

The ride is a no drop ride. If we have a larger group with varying skills we can probably split into smaller groups, key being groups must have at least 2 people and have at least one more advanced/skilled rider to help with any issues.

We have lots of options, Swift Creek Trails are obviously lots of fun and flowy. We can also swing around to Lake View and Morgan Trails too. Each trail system has their own brand of excitement and challenges.

I drive a silver honda ridgeline with a dakine tailgate cover and will usually be hanging out around the truck close to the meeting time.

While temperatures are getting warmer, some evenings may be chilly so check the weather and dress appropriately.

Also bugs and tics are coming back. You may want to come coated in bug spray or bring some to apply at the park. :-) let me know if you have any questions...
