Saturday Monthly Meeting - BSD Part II

Please join us this April for the second session on the Berkeley Software Distribution (BSD) flavor of Unix, presented by David, Yuri, Gustaf and others, with hands-on hardware demonstrations. Topics will include: * History and flavors of BSD (Net vs Open vs Free vs ..) * BSD influences in other OS (Slackware, Darwin) * ZFS storage, FreeNAS * Firewalls with pf, Intrusion Detection with pfSense vs snort * Jails jails jails We'll have a couple each of Raspberry Pi and older Soekris Engineering boards, and please bring your favorite piece of gear that can or used to run BSD! Let us know if there are other topics you would like us to cover either at this or future meetings!
