Please join us this April for the second session on the Berkeley Software Distribution (BSD) flavor of Unix, presented by David, Yuri, Gustaf and others, with hands-on hardware demonstrations. Topics will include:
* History and flavors of BSD (Net vs Open vs Free vs ..)
* BSD influences in other OS (Slackware, Darwin)
* ZFS storage, FreeNAS
* Firewalls with pf, Intrusion Detection with pfSense vs snort
* Jails jails jails
We'll have a couple each of Raspberry Pi and older Soekris Engineering boards, and please bring your favorite piece of gear that can or used to run BSD!
