Many of us are asking ourselves these days, “How can I do good in the world?"
This series is a carefully curated selection of both documentary and feature films that you likely have never heard of. With the documentaries, we'll focus on individuals and groups that ARE doing good in the world in real life. And with the feature films, we’ll look at imagined stories to inspire us to help in ways both small and large.
Take a break from politics and partisanship and come to just celebrate humans helping humans. These films provide inspiration, role modeling, and a reminder of all the goodness in the world.
Join expert discussion facilitator and film aficionado Marla Estes for an ONLINE evening of physically distant yet socially engaged discussion following these wonderfully uplifting and inspiring films.
NOTE: Due to the Oregon Governor’s recent announcement requiring that face coverings are now mandatory inside public spaces, RVML is temporarily switching the format of our Doing Good Film & Discussion Series to online. Other than a small cost to rent the film online (see film description), there is no cost to participate in the facilitated discussion. SEE FILM DESCRIPTION FOR INFO ON HOW TO PARTICIPATE.
