What is a Project Group:
A project group is a meetup where we regularly get together to learn from and with each other. You're warmly invited to join us regardless of you level or what you're working on. If you bring a project or coding homework we will do our best to match you with a skilled coach for your questions, or if you'd just like to learn, we will make sure to get you started on tutorials and resources.
Our beginners groups study the basics of programming in Ruby. The next level groups learn the basics of building a web application. More advanced groups maintain previously started projects and continue learning more advanced topics.
As an addition to the regular Project Group format, we are trying out a new thing by also having a side group session on a non-Rails subject. For this October event, our mentor Vy Le will guide us through building a To Do app in React, a popular JavaScript framework. This session will take place in a designated meeting room that comfortably fits 6 people. The seats will be assigned on a first come first serve basis at the event.
Food:
Throughout the evening we will have coffee, tea, soft drinks and dinner, all kindly sponsored by our host company Penstable.
We hope to see you! Get in touch if you have any questions.
PLEASE KEEP YOUR RSVP UP TO DATE.
We are limited to 15 guests, so if you plan to come and realise suddenly, even at the last minute, you can't, please let us know by sending an email to plf@penstable.dk.
