Rails Girls Organisers meetup @ Siteimprove

Details
Dear RG community! We have one final meetup planned this year: December 3rd. Instead of the usual project work on our open source app, we are goingto take the time to reflect on how we organise events currently and if we want to make any changes. In short, I propose we have an organiser meeting for all who wants to contribute to keep the community going & let’s also have some holiday/end of the year hygge while we are at it
Program:
17:00 Welcome
17:10 Introduction by our host - Siteimprove
Get into groups & discuss
18:45 Wrap Up
19:00 Goodbye
General information about the meetups:
We decided to build an open source app together: A Mentor/Mentee Platform:
"Find a mentor-platform: A matchmaking platform where people can find mentors already established in the tech scene. This will create a strong network and make rolemodels visible."
Find our project here: https://github.com/RailsGirlsCPH/mentor-mentee-platform
About the agenda:
At this meetup we'll fill up our backlog with user stories, so that the groups have nicely specified tasks to work on. And then we'll also work on them :)
What can you learn?
Frontenders and backenders are working with ruby on rails, vue, javascript, html, css and the product group is working with structuring the project and continuously validating our idea with potential users.
What do you need to know before showing up?
You're warmly invited to join us regardless of you level. The most important thing is that you're eager to learn! If you are a complete beginner we will make sure that you are placed in a group where you will get the guidance needed to get started. You'll have the possibility to pair program with more experienced developers, and learn a great deal from that.
Food:
Throughout the evening we will have coffee, tea, soft drinks and dinner, all kindly sponsored by our host company.
We hope to see you! Get in touch if you have any questions.
PLEASE KEEP YOUR RSVP UP TO DATE.
We are limited to 15 guests, so if you plan to come and realize suddenly, even at the last minute, you can't, please let us know by messaging us.
What to bring:
A laptop and charger.
Important to know:
