5 Things You Should Know About Our Club

1. We are a mix of UNC and community members who live and work in Chapel Hill, Carrboro, Durham, Hillsborough and beyond. Our club has been around for over 35 years!

2. We encourage a friendly, comfortable approach to building communication, presentation, and public speaking skills with group support and positive feedback. We have both new and experienced speakers.

3. We provide many opportunities to learn and practice leadership skills such as time management, organizing and leading meetings, and mentoring.

4. In addition to prepared speeches, we incorporate different off-the-cuff speaking activities to develop important skills for those times we need to express ideas in a casual environment.

5. You will learn the art of positive evaluation so you can better deliver constructive feedback to others.
