Table One – The More You Tighten Your Grip

GM: Will Prescott

Farming settlements bombarded from orbit. Innocent civilians executed on the premise that they might be Rebel sympathizers. Mass enslavement of refugees. City blocks destroyed and thousands murdered—all just to catch five of our operatives. Moff Berkayne (http://starwarsfirestorm.obsidianportal.com/characters/moff-jeris-berkayne) will stop at nothing to quash our rebellion, and he doesn’t care who he hurts in the process. The Empire is a blight upon the galaxy, and Jeris Berkayne represents the worst of its tyranny.

The time has come to take bold action against Moff Berkayne—but we must also demonstrate that the Alliance is more just and humane than the Empire. Berkayne should stand trial for slavery, murder, and endangerment of the citizenry. We will make him into the face of the evil that is Palpatine’s New Order—and, in doing so, prove to the galaxy that we can restore justice and security.

Commander Domir (http://starwarsfirestorm.obsidianportal.com/characters/voodwel-domir) and Lieutenant Dirk'obaesh'lize (http://starwarsfirestorm.obsidianportal.com/characters/dirk-obaesh-lize) are recruiting volunteers for a strike team to extricate Berkayne and bring him into Alliance custody to stand trial. We have received intelligence that Berkayne is scheduled to attend a gala in the capital city of Serenno. Our spy on Serenno will brief you on the location and anticipated Imperial presence so that you can find a way into the gala, subdue Berkayne, and extract him off-planet to await trial. With this act, we will make the citizens face the tyranny they suffer. There is no turning back once we step forward. The war begins now.

Table Two – I'm Not Afraid

Our base on Toprawa was savagely attacked, and the perpetrator—an Imperial Inquisitor (http://starwarsfirestorm.obsidianportal.com/characters/inquisitor-raega-dravvad)—managed to escape our grasp. The Empire has tried to eliminate every Rebel operative in the Peth Sector, and sought to kill the slaves we liberated from Moff Berkayne's work camps…and failed miserably at both, thanks to your efforts. It's time to take the fight to them in a manner which will show the Empire that we are not so easily broken.

We have received word that the Third Sister, the Inquisitor who led the attack, is recovering from her injuries aboard the Star Destroyer Adjudicator near Botajef. She is a major threat which must be dealt with, and as such Mon Mothma has agreed to send two capital ships to engage the Adjudicator and any other Imperial vessels in the system. Several battle droid boarding parties will board the Adjudicator prior to your arrival to help secure a launch point for your mission.

We would prefer that the Third Sister be taken alive, but she cannot be allowed to escape again under any circumstances. In addition, we have it on good authority that there are Rebel prisoners on the Star Destroyer as well—free them, and they can assist you in the fight. May the Force be with you.
