This is the most successful SEO Meetup in the United States because we concentrate on actionable advice. This Meetup IS NOT about tricks to fake out the search engines or how to make quick money online via Google.
The Raleigh's SEO Meetup IS about getting realistic information and guidance on what works with search marketing. Show up once a month to find better ways to tune your site, improve the ROI of your marketing efforts, and write better web content. Take the mystery out of what Google has to say about what works, learn about social networking and how it can benefit your site.
When this group started in 2008, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) was internet marketing. Today, we discuss a wide range of topics. This includes, Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, and all other forms of social media marketing. We also discuss marketing automation, content marketing, branding, paid advertising, an all the tools used for these endeavors. To learn more about how all this connects with SEO and search marketing, simply attend one of our meetings.
We want to help you build really great websites that rank at the top of the search results. We also want to sit down as neighbors and share some success stories, some advice on what didn't work and do some good old fashioned networking!
At this meetup you'll get info that can help almost everyone. Total beginners may feel overwhelmed the first time, but keep coming back, it will make sense. Those with some experience under their belt can count on a couple nuggets being unearthed that they may have missed. We always provide good takeaway resources so you can go home and use the information on your own website(s).

Over the past year and some change, we have been meeting weekly for SEO Social events online. These have offered an opportunity for people outside the Raleigh area to join us and learn about SEO.
