What we're about

Welcome to our group! We have a new name, Random Activists!

This group is committed to bringing our enthusiasm and support to the community through animal rights and progressive political action, environmental protection and social justice activities such as voter registration drives, letter writing campaigns, contacting political representatives on various issues that may negatively impact our family, our neighbors, our friends, animals as well as simple acts of kindness like contributing to food drives and more. Communities we serve include, but are not limited to, animals, low-income communities, immigrants, seniors, children, and more.

We want to find as many creative and effective ways as possible to bring these issues to the forefront. Our actions may be local, regional, statewide or national. We can act on as small or large a scale as we want. You may not want or be able to act on everything we want to do. That’s okay. We hope you’ll do some of the things. Doing something is always better than doing nothing, no matter how small. Every action, any action, matters.

This group is an evolving work in progress so bring your own ideas to the table as well! Are we missing an opportunity you’ve heard about and think we should consider? Tell us. If we’re not doing things you want to work on or are concerned about, let us know. Let’s talk. Let’s find a way to act that will make the world a better place, if only in our little corner.
