Hello Rasa enthusiasts,

We are excited to announce our third Rasa User Group meetup in NYC!
Let's meet up and learn from our community members building great things with Rasa.

Agenda:

7:00pm - 7:10pm Welcome to the Rasa User Group meetup, by Justina Petraityte, developer advocate at Rasa

7:10pm - 7:40pm Intake Consultation at Talkspace using a HIPAA-compliant chatbot, by Bonnie Ray, VP Data Science at Talkspace

Talkspace is the leading online therapy service, providing a secure platform through which those seeking help with behavioral health challenges can be matched and interact with a licensed psychotherapist via asynchronous messaging. Given that the majority of Talkspace customers communicate with their therapists through text messaging, we wanted to explore how conversational AI tools might be used to facilitate the customer journey. In this talk, we will discuss how we used the Rasa Stack to develop a chatbot for the client intake process that uses therapeutic techniques, while complying with HIPAA regulations to protect the sensitive information that clients may share when exploring whether Talkspace is right for them. In particular, we focus on how we’ve been able to build a chatbot that allows for the many variations of intake flows possible in the consultation process in a way that is easy to maintain and requires minimal effort to A/B test different flows and chatbot dialog.

7:40pm - 8:10pm Lessons learned from deploying a Rasa-powered voicebot in production, by Leo Grinberg and Nathan Stratton from Vocinity

Leo and Nathan will talk about their experience and lessons learned from deploying and Rasa-powered voice-bot in production. They will also cover their latest enhancements to the Rasa Stack - starting the dialogue at a saved point and using multiple NLU models in one bot.

8:10 - 9:00 Networking, drinks and snacks, provided by our host Talkspace.

When: 16th Apr 2019, doors open 6:30pm EST, talks start at 7pm EST.

Since we have a limited space, make sure to RSVP for the event.
