Power-over-Ethernet: One cable to rule them all, without catching fire!

Details
Power-over-Ethernet is a technology which enables devices such as IP office phones, security cameras, and wifi access points to use a single ethernet cable for both power and data. From sketchy and dangerous beginnings, PoE has evolved to a safe, stable, and useful technology - and not it's available on the Raspberry Pi to simplify wired IoT and thin-client projects. Chris Tyler will be demonstrating PoE on a Pi.
Please note the change of venue! -- This is the first of our Meetups at the Seneca Newnham campus at Finch & 404. On campus, look for the new CITE building ("Building K"_, directly accessible from Finch if you're coming via TTC or Viva. If you're driving, you can travel to the very end of Premier Davis Blvd past the student residence to the Building K parking lot (or choose any other lot and follow the signs to CITE/Building K). We will be meeting in K2010 near the bridge between buildings D and K.
