What we're about

The Raspberry Pi and STEAM, (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) Special Interest Group, (aka SIG) is a meetup that meets the first Sunday afternoon of each month to work on projects based off the Raspberry Pi computing platform. These projects are for kids ages 5-90 and are interactive, entertaining and educational. Instead of boring coding classes using older technical education methods, the projects are created to engage the attendee to learn logical thinking skills, programming code and imagination to successfully build projects with their own ideas incorporated into them. The goal of this group is to introduce the fun of technology and how important human involvement is to the process!
