The ReDI School Fall Semester 2020 (August - December) is around the corner and we are looking for volunteers to share their knowledge within a non-formal educational setting. Specifically, we are currently recruiting for our Digital Literacy classes within the Digital Youth Program and for our coding classes in the Kids Program. Support our growing student community, by facilitating and co-creating together over a three-month period!
If you are interested to learn more, please join us on Thursday, 13th August, online to learn more about the volunteering opportunities.
You will get the chance to meet the ReDI School Team, hear from our volunteers about their experience and just ask any questions you may have. Come along, we are looking forward to meeting you!
ReDI School of Digital Integration (https://www.redi-school.org/) is a non-profit digital school for tech-interested newcomers and un(der)employed people in Berlin. We offer our students high-quality training and the chance to collaborate with the start-up and digital industry.
DIGITAL YOUTH PROGRAM
The ReDI youth program is designed to support young adults between the ages of 18 and 30 with little digital skills. We do this by supporting them in developing their digital skills and helping them with their process of integration into German society and the labor market.
We offer a beginner and advanced course and teach basic computer use, MS Office, Google Tools and cyber security. Both courses take place in the evenings [masked]) twice a week for 2 hours each and are free of charge.
ReDI Kids is a safe space for Kids and Teens (9-16 years old) to acquire coding skills through fun and interactive activities. Students are divided in two groups according to their age and courses are taking place on Sundays [masked]). We teach cybersecurity, html/css, python and calliope mini.
