React Native and Firebase hands-on workshop!

If you are a web developer who has been itching to get into native development, now is your chance. In this workshop we’ll be talking all about React Native. React Native allows you to build native iOS and Android applications in JavaScript and React.js.

Once we get our ecosystem set up we'll jump straight into building a fully functioning iPhone app which utilizes many of the best parts of developing with React Native.

1. Getting started with React Native.
2. Building our first View
3. Handling touch events
4. Working with Redux
5. Getting started with Firebase
6. Adding firebase to the project
7. Authenticate users and work with data from Firebase

In the remaining time we’ll discuss about more advanced topics.

Please make sure that Xcode is installed and you manage to run the example app on your simulator.
