Newcomers welcome! As a developer, you probably know about React... that it exists... and you probably feel like you should know something about it. At this point though, you might be feeling a little behind or overwhelmed by all of the advanced tutorials out there. We're going to take a big step back from state management to talk about the basics. What is React? What is JSX? All questions welcome.
Luke is an instructor at Prime Digital Academy. He also runs Abamath, a small business that teaches kids to code. He is currently working on a project called Approachable IO that makes it much easier to get involved in open source - if you’re interested, you can contribute at approachable.io! He loves volleyball, and (like any self-respecting Minnesotan) he continues to struggle with taking the last cookie.
