Static typing is becoming more popular in the JavaScript community as our client applications become bigger and harder to refactor without the added safety. Together, ReasonML and Bucklescript bring OCaml's first class type system to the NPM ecosystem. And the best news is that it has fantastic interoperability and already works with React.
In this talk we'll learn the ReasonML basics in the context of a reason-react application, and we'll have some 3D fun with threejs to demonstrate the foreign function interface capabilities. I'll give you Three Reasons to be excited, and Three Reasons why it might seem Un-ReasonML.
