Newcomers welcome! As a developer, you probably know about React... and if you're a React developer, you might have heard about React Hooks... and you probably feel like you should know something about it. At this point though, you might be feeling a little behind or overwhelmed by all of the advanced tutorials out there. We're going to start with the basics of React and introduce React Hooks along the way!

Luke is an instructor at Prime Digital Academy. He also runs Abamath, a small business that teaches kids to code. Abamath is currently working on a project called Code Championship which allows students to build bots to compete head-to-head against one another! He loves volleyball, and (like any self-respecting Minnesotan) he continues to struggle with taking the last cookie.
