π€ GWI - A quick review of our microfrontend approach with React (GR)
π¨πΌβπ« Thodoris Sarigiannidis - Senior FE engineer @ GWI
π¨πΌβπ« Padelis Fragkos - Senior FE engineer @ GWI
π¨πΌβπ« Naim Gkamperlo - Engineering Manager @ GWI
Micro frontends are a new pattern where web application UIs (front ends) are composed from semi-independent fragments that can be built by different teams using different technologies. Micro-frontend architectures resemble back-end architectures where back ends are composed from semi-independent microservices. In GWI we were courageous enough to build our new platform using microfrontends. In this presentation, we will take a closer look on the overall architecture, the pitfalls we fell into as well as the choices we made in various steps along the way.

π€ How to use Dependency Injection pattern with a React Application (GR)
π¨πΌβπ« George Tavantzopoulos - Team Leader Software Engineering @ Dialectica
Dependency injection is a software design pattern that has been around since forever. Every major framework uses an IoC technique to handle how services should be injected within the application components in order to reduce coupling between components and their external dependencies, and to ease testing. So, what about React? React is just a library for building user interfaces, it's not a framework that comes with all these kinds of problems solved. In this speech we will get a quick 101 on DI pattern, we will explore how we can implement a basic approach of DI, as well as how we can organize our external dependencies into services in order to benefit from DI strength and flexibility.
About George:
George is Full Stack Software Engineer experienced on designing and building apps end to end. Also, he is a Software Design Patterns evangelist with a purpose to proselytize engineers on the bright path of coding best practices.
