The one w/ Hooks!

Quick 5 on CSS - Andrew Humphries (Web Designer/Developer)
Making text over images more legible by applying a dark transparency over images and using gradients

Tictactoe(s) - Adam Zhu (ZeroCater)
What's the difference between hooks & classes? Why would you want to choose one over the other? In this presentation we'll highlight the differences by building our own little tictactoe game!

Hooks in the Wild! - John Detlefs (Meshify)
Oftentimes, we can cut ourselves living on the bleeding edge. Hooks are brand new to React and can be intimidating at first. Fortunately, the benefits of hooks significantly outweigh any pain points that come as a result of incremental adoption.

In this talk, I will use examples of hooks that have worked for us at Meshify. We will cover where useEffect, useState, useCallback, and useMemo have provided significant readability and performance benefits. We will cover common errors, the benefits of functional components, effective testing patterns, and helpful resources for getting your team onboard with the future of React.
