Match is once again hosting our group. Come learn about Firebase and hear a talk from the Match team.

In the first presentation, local developer Peter Miles will go over the popular BaaS, Firebase. We'll start by seeing how easy it is to implement Authentication, how to store media with Cloud Storage, and how to persist data with Firestore, one of Firebase's noSQL datastores. Then we'll see some examples of implementing Firebase with React. Come on out to learn how Firebase could save you time in your development cycle.

Getting into Match

Park in the outdoor lot next to the building. Enter through the main glass doors. The doors will likely be locked but there is a security guard on duty (just for us) that will be opening the doors for people and escorting them to the 14th floor.

Once on the 14th floor there’ll be a sign to direct everyone to the grand lounge.
