Tim's talk will walk through building the basic react hooks from scratch. The hooks we will be focusing on are useState, useMemo, useCallback and useEffect. By the end of the talk we will be able to build react components with our own hooks that work just like the native React hooks.
Tim Waite is a senior software engineer at Dialexa, a software consulting firm in Dallas TX. He runs the Dallas Vue meetup and enjoys talking about anything JavaScript.
Recoil is a new state management utility library that was created by the React team. This library takes a different approach to state management meant to follow Reacts core behavior, while maintaining a simple interface and low barrier to entry. Let's see how we can start using it now for simpler data flow in our applications.
Joseph Campuzano is a senior UI developer at Examsoft. He enjoys everything web technology related. Outside of work he enjoys spending time exploring coffee and cafe's, traveling, and motorcycling.
