Test-driven development (TDD) is an iterative approach to software development where you think through your requirements before writing your code. What are TDD’s benefits and challenges? What is the TDD methodology? When should I refactor? Will it add a lot of time? How can I leverage TDD with React? Get answers to these questions and more!
Adrianne Mallett is a software engineer at USAA. She is currently on a back-end team that writes Java through TDD 100% of the time. Adrianne has front-end experience and is extremely passionate about creating beautiful, accessible experiences for users. She loves improving processes, high code quality, automated software testing and exchanging best practices with peer developers at her company and in the industry. Adrianne lives in San Antonio with her husband and two Devon Rex cats. Lately she has been learning everything she can about mutation testing, practicing ukulele, and streaming “The Nanny” on HBO Max while browsing eBay for Fran Drescher-inspired clothing.
