Joey Kreft will be speaking on CSS Grids, including a general overview on the history of grid templating, why the introduction of Grid Layout is important to the future of front development, and a basic introduction to the new API.

Joey is a Senior Engineer at Match, where he has worked since late 2016. Originally from Wichita, Kansas, he has made a career working with open source technologies (namely Javascript, PHP and Python). In his free time he enjoys fishing, playing volleyball, watching sports, and comic books.

Getting into Match

Park in the outdoor lot next to the building. Enter through the main glass doors. The doors will likely be locked but there is a security guard on duty (just for us) that will be opening the doors for people and escorting them to the 14th floor.

Once on the 14th floor there’ll be a sign to direct everyone to the grand lounge.
