We take a look into testing your React components with the modern testing libraries of Jest and Enzyme, and how you can implement it into your code today. Bring your laptops to get a step-by-step introduction into component testing.
Austin Chappell is a React developer at TriumphPay in Dallas. Prior to his current role, he was a developer at Match and CrateBind. Austin enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, playing ice hockey, and coding.
Joey is a Lead Engineer at Match, where he has worked since late 2016. Originally from Wichita, Kansas, he has made a career working with open source technologies (namely Javascript, PHP and Python). In his free time he enjoys fishing, playing volleyball, watching sports, and comic books.
Getting into Match
Park in the outdoor lot next to the building. Enter through the main glass doors. The doors will likely be locked but there is a security guard on duty (just for us) that will be opening the doors for people and escorting them to the 14th floor.
Once on the 14th floor there’ll be a sign to direct everyone to the grand lounge.
If you enjoy our events, then please consider supporting the meetup!
