Talks

Writing fluid use user interfaces becomes increasingly challenging as application complexity increases. Together, we’ll explore how properly scheduling UI work improves your app’s user experience. We’ll dive into Concurrent React and learn how it improves the responsiveness of web applications and what you can do with the the new React Scheduler. Lastly, we take a glimpse into the future of the Web platform.

  • Use-case: An Infinite Table using react-virtualized, GraphQL & TypeScript
    by Mei Lam

Pagination is a key feature to load dynamic data in many web applications. In this talk I will demonstrate a basic implementation of infinite scrolling using Apollo and react-virtualized. I will also show how this implementation can be genericized using TypeScript and extracted into a higher order component so that it can be applied across different components in an app.

We will start a new AR app from scratch and place a model into the room. Using React we create a UI to switch between various materials.
