Stay home. Stay safe. And, stay connected to the community.

We realize our meetups and gatherings were not just about the high-quality content talks but mostly about the post networking and discussions you could lead with like-minded developers. We are planning on keeping the Slack channel for communication about all of our following online meetu-ps, your one on one communication, and hope it will be the meeting point of our online community.

Info about how to connect is coming soon but we use Zoom Webinar.

Internationalization is more than translating the content on your site into multiple languages and calling it a day. There are various nuances to the presentation of that content which affect the experience of a native speaker using your site. There are CSS properties that provide layout and typographic capabilities for scripts and writing systems beyond the Latin-based horizontal top-to-bottom ones that are predominantly seen on the web today. Let's take a closer look at the different methods we can use to apply different styles for different languages on a multilingual page with CSS.

Chen Hui Jing is a self-taught designer and developer living in Singapore, with an inordinate love for CSS, as evidenced by her blog, that is mostly about CSS, and her tweets, which are largely about typography and the web. She used to play basketball full-time and launched her web career during downtime between training sessions.
