Reading Genres Pages

We are looking to expand our reading horizons and push ourselves, so if you want to read only one type of book, honestly, we aren't for you. Each month we will be reading a book from a pre-chosen genre and then talking about not only the book, but the genre, what makes a book fit in the genre, why we like - and don't like - it. I hope that we will each find new books to add to the stack. I want to have more variety, so that I can fit the book to the mood that I am in or need to be in. I have plenty of relaxation books (you know, the ones that aren't heavy lifting) I want to be encouraged to read things that make me think and want to talk. That is not to say that each month will be like homework, I can imagine sometimes reading "books that got made into movies" but also biographies of living people and maybe even some books that just might be on a college class reading list.
