Real World VR - Since March 2016 brings together, enthusiasts, content creators/developers, producers, VR filmmakers, augmented reality artists/animators and industry. This group is for anyone who has questions, is interested in or wants to experience XR (Cross Reality), VR (Virtual Reality), AR (Augmented Reality), MR (Mixed Reality), 3D, 360 video, AI (Artificial Intelligence) and new technologies.

We meet once every second month on a Tuesday evening mid month at the iconic venue, Loop Project Space and Bar. The night includes a high profile speakers, panel, forum, Q&A session, VR / AR / MR demonstrations & networking.

Equipment demonstrations vary from Google Cardboard, Samsung Gear VR, Oculus Go, Oculus Rift, HoloLens or HTC Vive headsets projected on large format screens and live demonstrations, performances and exhibitions.

Sessions include: Film & Production, Music, The Arts, Gaming, Simulation Training & Education & more. We also collaborate and coordinate annual events with MIFF VR and Transitions Film Festival (VR).

The course encouraged us to focus on intuitive, ‘native-VR’ designs and seamless onboarding.
