Neo-Soul Duo Kindred the Family Soul at The Birchmere Come spend a fun fall Saturday evening out with good music, good folks, and food for a couple of hours at The Birchmere in Alexandria, Virginia. Philly neo-soul husband and wife duo known for songs "Far Away" and "Magic Happen," among others. Price is $69.50 general admission. At 5:00 pm the doors open; at 6:00 PM, they begin seating by line number, i.e., by the time of arrival, but there aren't any bad seats, it's a 500 seat venue. If anyone is interested, please let me know no later than September 12th, so that we can get an idea of interest level, as well as purchase tickets while they are still available. (Certainly if we get a couple of RSVPs by Sept 12th, and we commit to going, anyone else can still purchase after Sept 12th, given availability of tickets). Various sized tables seating 2 - 14. Ladies, This is going to be an interesting, educational, and fun tour. Only RSVP Yes if you will definately show up. The tour guide needs a firm headcount. We can go to Marvin's afterwards to chat about the tour. Marvin is a restaurant and roof deck bar (see the link at the bottom of the page). We can hang out on the roof deck to recover from walking and to purchase refreshments.
