What we're about

Hello! This is a group for anyone who would like to explore how divine guidance is a part of our daily lives. We’ll share spiritual experiences with like-minded others and fine-tune our ability to listen to the inner voice, the quiet whisper that helps us navigate challenges and recognize the beauty of each day. We’ll learn techniques to gain understanding, consider possible past lives and waking dreams, and chart a path of well-being, wisdom, spiritual freedom, and awareness.

Have you had a spiritual experience? Meet other people who have had experiences like you. Discuss out-of-body adventures, dreams, déjà vu, near-death experiences, seeing an inner light, hearing an inner sound, or having a sense that you have lived before.

You and a friend are welcome to attend any or all events. There is never a charge for attending a Meetup.

This Meetup is sponsored by the NY Satsang Society, a chartered affiliate of Eckankar, the Path of Spiritual Freedom. Eckankar is an ancient spiritual teaching and a modern-day religion that offers spiritual techniques and resources for individuals to discover truth for themselves. "The farther you go, the fewer maps are available to chart the path. There are fewer travelers. There are fewer players to tell you what to look for, what to watch out for. It is up to you to keep your eyes wide open and stay alert to the guidance of the ECK (Holy Spirit)." —Harold Klemp, ECK Wisdom on Inner Guidance, p. 34

Online Spiritual Discussion: “ECK Wisdom on Conquering Fear”
Wednesday, April 14, 7:00–8:15 PM

“What if the antidote to fear—any fear—lay within easy distance?
“Would you reach for it often?”

Harold Klemp, spiritual leader of Eckankar and author of “ECK Wisdom on Conquering Fear” asks these questions to help you learn the secret to open your heart center and begin a journey of spiritual healing from fear.

You are invited to join us for a supportive and inspirational conversation where we can share our stories about fear in our lives and the spiritual practices we use to replace fear with love.

This is a two-session online book discussion class, but you are welcome to attend one or both.
They will be held on two Wednesday evenings, April 14 and April 21, from 7:00–8:15 pm. Please register for each event separately.

Session I—Our first discussion will be based on pages 1–25 and will include the topics:
Where does fear come from?
How do you let go?
How can love overcome fear?

The booklet “ECK Wisdom on Conquering Fear,” by Harold Klemp, can be purchased or downloaded as an e-book at your favorite online bookstore. It is not necessary to have the book in order to attend the sessions.

This event will be hosted on Zoom. The Zoom link will be sent to those who register. You can also join by phone; the phone number and link will also be sent in an email on the day of the event.

You are welcome to invite your friends and family, but please do not forward the meeting link. Ask them to register themselves on Meetup.

When you click the “Join Online” button to RSVP you may need to login (if you are already a member of this Meetup group) or sign in to create an account.

Please enter the zoom meeting a few minutes early so we can start on time.
