Kayak & Lunch, South Lake Washington

This trip was a great success last time... Let's do it again!

Gather at the Cascade Kayak Center at the southern tip of Lake Washington. Center opens at 11:00, so that would be a great time to drop the kayaks in. They do take reservations, but not required.

Drinks and food after at one of the many restaurants in nearby downtown Renton. The Terrible Beauty Irish Pub runs a great brunch on the weekends.

Please note... I am not a professional kayaker or guide. I do not recommend kayaking for those who are not good swimmers or are not comfortable in deep water. We do set up a buddy system for safety at the beginning of the trip. The length of time you choose to stay out is up to each individual. We will pair you up with someone who wants to return to the dock on your time schedule, so no one has to kayak alone back to the dock.
