Intro to HTML & CSS

In this workshop, you will learn what a markup language is and how HTML works on the web, how to write semantic HTML, including elements, attributes, and nesting. Use basic HTML tags including headings, paragraphs, links, and lists, what CSS is in relation to HTML and how to use CSS to adjust the way HTML looks on a web page.

We will also be joined by Sharifa Samuels, from Wealthbar, who will be talking about the developer job market in Vancouver! Learn what it takes to become a Front End Developer, part-time or full-time, and what our courses can offer you to launch you there! Please bring your laptop to this session.
