What we're about

Refactor Richmond Tech is an inclusive community that’s welcoming and accessible to everyone. If you've ever felt intimidated or hesitant to join a coding or programming group we're here for you! Our vision is to broaden the face of tech by providing workshops, classes, monthly meetings, and events to build confidence and support you on your journey into tech. Beginners will enjoy a chance to build a foundation, and experts will enjoy socializing with like minded folks and a chance to help others learn. While we have a strong focus on supporting women, all are welcome to take part in events no matter your background.

Have tech related questions? Want to stay connected in between meetups? Hang out with us on Slack (https://join.slack.com/t/refactor-richmond/shared_invite/enQtNTAxOTIwNjA4MjQ2LTllYTdiZTY0OTFiMWUxNjliZjQ3ZmU3ODBlYjNkNjY1YjYzN2IzZGEzZTQxOGE5Yjk5OWRiMmQ5ZTJjNTIyNDY).

Capital One Cafe - Carytown

Coffee and Code is a monthly opportunity for you to work on your own projects, continue practicing what you've been learning, and meet others who share your interests. Bring your laptop, your recent projects, and your programming problems and questions. If you want to focus on helping others with their projects? You're welcome too! Are you a first time attendees who just wants to socialize? That's fine, we're very friendly and would love to have you join us. :) As a group, we’ll hold each other accountable for completing our projects, and provide ongoing support and feedback.
