In fall of 2016, PSPS and Metro Vancouver Regional Parks planted 400 trees (donated by Vancouver Park Board) in a site that was once a 6 foot wall of invasive Himalayan Blackberry. Each year, PSPS helps the trees by removing the invasive plants that are returning to the site.

This weekend we will be removing a variety of invasive plants that are encroaching into the site in order to give the trees a better chance of getting the light, water and nutrients they need.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Dress for the weather, but WEAR LONG PANTS! This site is full of prickly plants that can scratch your legs.

We provide tools, gloves and direction and always have cold water and snacks to share.

In order to reduce waste, please bring your own water bottle to fill on site.

SEE YOU THERE!
