Reinventing Work: London - a place to share, learn and practice new ways of working. Ways of working that put humans front and centre of organisational life. Our purpose (written in pencil) is to make London a better place to work.
We explore working practices used by organisations who have moved away from the traditional ways of working that most of us are used to. We bring people together who are working in self-managing organisations and encourage those who aren't and are curious, to get involved too.
Are you wondering if this meet-up is for you?
Reinventing Work: London is aimed at people in organisations that are interested in the future of work, self-organising teams, self-management, emergent hierarchies, participatory change, decentralised leadership, distributed authority, collaboration, new ways of working and organisation design. If you’ve heard of 'Brave New Work' by Aaron Dignan, Frederic Laloux’s book ‘Reinventing Organisations’, the Corporate Rebels blog, or the Leadermorphosis podcast, then this is definitely for you! If you haven’t, here are some links:
Have a read/listen/browse and if the ideas sound like fun then you’ll fit right in. We want this group to be inclusive, so we do encourage people who are curious about self-management to come along. We also want it to be for organisations who are on, or about to begin, their self-management journey.
Reinventing Work: London is part of the wider Reinventing Work movement which started in Bristol following the 2018 RSA Reinventing Work South West series which explored the meaning of self-management in the workplace.
