Big Meadow to Round Lake
Location not specified yetSnowshoe hike 6.4 miles, 1204 ft of elevation gain.
The hike has panoramic views of meadow and . This out-n-back begins at the Big Meadow Trailhead and up on to Round Lake. There is lovely forest, meadow, and mountain scenery along the way. Round Lake surrounded by interesting rock formations.
Participants should be in excellent physical condition.
Must have snowshoes & ski poles, water, and a snack.
Because of changeable weather.. please dress appropriately and in layers.
No guests for this hike.
This snowshoe hike is NOT for beginners.
Please assess your level of fitness before you RSVP.
Pls be resposable for your reservation, adjust it if plans changed
Every mile of snowshoe is equal to two miles of hike.
If you have a heart or breathing problems pls do NOT reserve.
Will meet for car-pooling at The Summit Park & Ride (Mt. Rose Hwy/Herz Blvd.) at 9am.
If conditions turn out worse than the current forecast or road access is compromised, we'll look to reschedule.

Angela, Flora, and Azalea Lakes Loop
Donner Summit Sno Park, Bunny Hill Dr, Soda Springs, CA, USAngela, Flora, and Azalea Lakes Loop is a 4.9 mile hike. With an elevation gain of 587 feet, moderately trafficked trail located near Soda Springs, California that features three lakes and is rated as moderate.

For this hike, each vehicle will need to purchase a California SNO-PARK permit. Ride sharing is highly recommended, 1: to cut down on the number of cars, 2: so that not every one is having to purchase a permit. If you think that you’ll be carpooling, please give the person that you’re carpooling with a couple of bucks to help cover the cost if the permit.

For those of you who might be interested in car pooling up to the trailhead, we'll meet at the IHOP and Instant Smog on North McCarran Blvd (take Sierra Highlands Dr). WE’LL LEAVE FROM THE IHOP AT 8:30AM. If you are not interested in carpooling, show up at the IHOP and we can caravan to the trailhead.

Bring water and something for lunch.
Dogs need to be on a leash and picked up after. If the dog can demonstrate that it is under total voice control of the owner, then the leash can be removed at the discretion of the trip Organizer.
