Research + Accessibility

Details
To align with Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD), this event will focus on the intersection between research and accessibility. We'll talk about how to use research to build empathy for users of different abilities, how to account for these users in your research, and how to use those insights to design products and solutions that go beyond the minimum requirements necessary for accessibility conformance.
Looking at the well-known Nielsen Norman Group research report on users with disabilities, we'll hold a "book club" style discussion, moderated by Mikey Ilagan, Accessibility Specialist at Think Company.
Read the report here: https://media.nngroup.com/media/reports/free/Usability_Guidelines_for_Accessible_Web_Design.pdf
This will be a moderated group discussion, so come prepared with questions, thoughts, and curiosity!
