Join us for a talk by Conall Dempsey and Maddy Ross, who will highlight the challenges (e.g., high costs, scheduling difficulties, social awkwardness) and benefits (potential of richer data sets, deeper understanding of repetitive and cyclic challenges, enhanced rapport), associated with spending long periods of time with research participants during in-home contextual research — even if the core product or process being investigated is relatively quick. Conall and Maddy will also explore the relationships between these benefits and their impacts on evolutionary and revolutionary product development.

6:00 - 6:30 Networking
6:30 - 7:30 Talk with Q&A
7:30 - 8:00 Wrap up and more networking
