EVENT DESCRIPTION
The City of Philadelphia’s Office of Open Data and Digital Transformation partners with City staff and leaders, advocates, and the public to improve residents’ experiences with government services.

In this meetup, the team’s service designers will present on how participatory design methods are being used to bring more voices to the design table in order to shift decision-making power and center equity when developing person-centered service solutions.

After the presentation, the team will workshop key participatory design tools, like the ladder of stakeholder participation and power mapping, that attendees can use in their work.
