It's back! With case counts declining, and vaccinations available, the relative risk of infection isn't what it was two years ago. Given that, we're looking into restarting our monthly lunch meetup. Note that Durham has an indoor mask mandate, even for folks who are fully vaccinated: https://durhamnc.gov/4013/City-of-Durham-COVID-19-Guidelines-Servi.
Wise counsel from the CDC may be found here: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/prevention.html.
Vaccinations remain the best way to reduce the risk for yourself and those around you.

If you do plan to attend, be cool. We've all got different risk tolerances; the point of this meetup is for folks to feel relaxed and comfortable and get their data nerd chat on. If you don't feel up to hanging out in public, we get it. We'll see you online and hopefully we can see you in 3D again soon.

Don't know me yet and don't know how to find me? I'll have some sort of textbook with me - odds are always good that it'll be a red and white O'Reilly book or a yellow and blue Springer book. I'll visibly place that on the table. You can also see my slick, professional picture on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/brian-fannin/.
